Terms of service
Last updated 28 August 2026
These cover using this website. The work we do for you is covered by the separate agreement you sign before a project starts.
Using this site
You’re welcome to read this site, use the forms, and get in touch. Please don’t try to break it, scrape it in bulk, or use it to send spam.
What we own
The design, writing, code, and images on this site belong to LuminaWorks LLC. You’re free to link to us. You’re not free to copy the site and pass it off as your own.
Quotes and prices
The prices on this site are real and current at the time of writing. A price becomes binding when we send you a written quote for your specific project — not before. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Project work
Anything we build for you is governed by the project agreement you sign, which covers scope, payment, revisions, timelines and ownership. If anything in that agreement disagrees with these terms, the agreement wins.
In summary, from that agreement
- Half the fee up front, half when the site goes live
- The deposit is non-refundable once work has started
- Two rounds of revisions included, then hourly
- You own the finished site, the domain, and the accounts
- We may show the finished work as an example, unless you’d rather we didn’t
What we can and can’t promise
We can promise the work will be done properly and on the date agreed, provided you get us what we need.
We can’t promise a specific position on Google. Nobody can, and anybody who does is either guessing or about to get your site penalised. We build the technical foundation properly and set up your Google Business Profile, which is what actually helps a local business.
Third-party services
Your site may rely on services we don’t control — hosting, domain registration, Google, payment processors. We’ll set them up in your name and help when something goes wrong, but we’re not responsible for their outages or their policy changes.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything connected with a project is limited to what you paid us for it. We’re not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Anything here you’d like explained? Email [email protected] — we’d rather you understood it than signed it blind.
