Dashboards

One screen that tells you how the business is really doing.

You already have the numbers — in your till, your booking system, your spreadsheets. A dashboard puts the useful part of all of it on one screen that keeps itself up to date, so you can stop digging and start deciding.

What it is

Plainly: it’s one page you check with your morning coffee

Not software you have to learn. Not a report you have to read. Just one screen, on a link, showing the handful of numbers that tell you how the week is going.

📊

Your numbers, all in one place

Sales from the till, bookings from the app, costs from the spreadsheet. Brought together automatically instead of you exporting three files and squinting at them on a Sunday.

🔄

It updates itself

Open the link tomorrow and it’s current. Nothing to fill in, no Monday morning routine, and no version quietly going out of date in a folder.

📱

It opens on your phone

Standing in the stockroom, between appointments, at the end of a shift. That’s when the questions come up, so that’s where the answers should live.

Why you’d want one

Going on gut feel works, right up until it doesn’t

Most owners have a rough idea how things are going. “Rough” is where the money tends to hide.

You already have the data

It’s sitting in your till and your booking system right now doing nothing. This is about reading what you already own.

Guessing costs more than it feels like

Too many staff on a quiet Tuesday, reordering something that isn’t selling, running an offer during your busiest hour. Small, repeated, and invisible without a number.

Your gut and the numbers disagree at least once

There’s nearly always one thing you were certain about that turns out to be backwards. That single correction usually pays for the whole job.

Decisions get quicker

Whether to open Sundays, whether to take somebody on, whether that supplier is worth it. Ten minutes with a screen instead of two weeks of maybe.

You see a bad month coming

Trends show up on a dashboard long before they show up in your bank balance.

It gets your evenings back

Nobody went into business to reconcile spreadsheets on a Sunday night.

What it answers

The questions you’ve been meaning to look into

Every dashboard we build is aimed at the handful of questions that actually change what you do next.

Which products actually make money?

Your best seller and your most profitable item often aren’t the same thing. Seeing the difference usually changes a menu or a shelf within a week.

When are you quiet, and why?

Slow hours are where your staffing and your offers should be pointed. Most owners are surprised by which hours those turn out to be.

Where’s the money going?

Costs creep up quietly. One view of spending against income catches the subscription, supplier, or shift pattern eating your margin.

Is this month good, or just normal?

Without last year sitting next to this year, a strong week feels the same as an average one.

Who comes back?

Repeat customers cost a fraction of new ones. Knowing what brings people back a second time is worth more than any advert.

What should I do on Monday?

The point isn’t the chart. Every dashboard we build comes with a short list of things worth acting on, in plain language.

Questions

The ones we get asked

Do I need special software?

No. It opens in a browser, on your phone or your laptop, from a link. Nothing to install and nothing to keep updated.

Does it really update by itself?

Wherever your systems allow it, yes. If something can’t connect automatically we’ll tell you up front rather than quietly leaving you to paste a spreadsheet in every Monday.

My records are a mess. Is that a dealbreaker?

Not at all, and it’s the normal starting point. Tidying it up is part of the job — have a look at your numbers for what that involves.

Who else can see my numbers?

Only whoever you share the link with. We don’t sell, share, or publish anything, and we’ll delete our working copies at the end of the project if you’d like.

What does it cost?

It’s quoted per project once we know which systems you’re on and what you want to see. Usually less than people expect, and always agreed before we start.

Tell us what you’d want to see

Describe the handful of things you wish you could check at a glance, and we’ll tell you whether it’s doable and what it would cost.
