Refunds and cancellation
Last updated 28 August 2026
Written plainly, before you pay anything, so there are no surprises if things change.
Before work starts
Changed your mind after paying the deposit but before we’ve started? Tell us and you get the whole deposit back, no questions and no hard feelings.
Once work has started
The deposit becomes non-refundable, because by that point the time has been set aside and the work has begun. You still don’t owe the second half.
| When you cancel | What happens |
|---|---|
| Before we’ve started | Full deposit refunded |
| After we’ve started, before you’ve seen a draft | Deposit kept, nothing further owed |
| After you’ve seen a draft | Deposit kept, nothing further owed, and you get the work so far |
| After launch | The project is complete; no refund, but you keep everything |
If we cancel
If we can’t finish for any reason on our side, you get every penny back including the deposit, plus whatever work is finished, handed over free.
If you’re unhappy
Tell us before the second payment. Two rounds of revisions are included, and we’ll use them. If you still don’t like it after that, we’ll agree a fair reduction rather than argue about it.
Support and yearly plans
Support included with your build isn’t separately refundable. Yearly support after that can be cancelled any time — you’ll get back the unused months, rounded to whole months.
Things that aren’t refundable
- Domain registration fees, which go to the registrar, not us
- Third-party services bought on your behalf with your agreement
- Work completed on extra requests beyond the agreed scope
